There are 3 ways to remove the U3 Launchpad from your SanDisk Cruzer flash drive.

1. Download U3 Removal Tool and save it to your desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on launchpadremoval.exe to run the application.

2. Click No (I want to use my Drive for storage only).
3. Click the Remove U3 button to confirm uninstall.

Message I get when executing launchpad. I resolved this by inserting the sandisk in a windows 7 PC, launching the U3 app and once my password was entered I disabled the password security on the drive. This allowed me to then use my sandisk in the Windows 10 machine but alas I cannot password protect the data anymore.
